Mera Peak Climbing


Mera peak climbing (6,654 m.) is the comparatively highest peak authorized for climbing in Nepal and also free solo climbing. Mera peak climbing is high passes of everest treks and neophyte to have the feeling of hiking and climbing on snow and experiencing trekking in isolated part of Khumbu region.

 Mera peak climbing begins with early morning scenic flight offering fantastic views of the mountains.We walk through the pristine of Rhododendron, pine and streams to Chutanga. From Chatara Pass you can enjoy the spectacular views of Numbur Himal, Kongdi RI, Karyolang peak and many other mountains and peaks.

Enjoy the views of Mera and the Hinku Valley passing through deep forests to Kothe. We have nice view of Mt. charpate and Mera La and a Buddhist Gomba in the lap of big rock to Thangnak. From Chapatti Tal the path descends slightly and crosses a sandy bowl to the steep stream to Dig Kharka.

 After having acclimatization day in Khare our trail to Mera Camp starts. Depending up on the weather Mera peak climbing is succeeded as we climb high camp experiencing real mountaineering in the high Himalayas.

We enjoy incredible views across to Baruntse  Chamlang (7,319m.) and Nau Lekh (6,360m.) with Makalu (8,481m.) looming behind. Following with beaten trail of Himalaya of Nepal we retrace our journey back to Lukla Airport.
